Let it… melt!

Uncle! Uncle! We’ve had quite the snowy winter, at least since the beginning of December. We got another 6″+ overnight. Dad sent out some pictures of his driveway up on the hill and Megan had a picture of snow up to about mid-thigh at her house in Highland. Alta recorded 178″ of snow in January alone! So, here are a couple of pictures of the snow for everyone (that doesn’t have to shovel it) to enjoy.

The picture of the van was taken January 9th. Since then, the snow melted a little, then came back with a vengeance.

This is what it looks like up on the ridge in Draper (apologies to Dad for stealing his picture).

Okay, okay. I’ll post again. Finally

Well, we had a great Christmas, and Xander’s blessing was nice, although only Grandma Denise and her husband, Randy made it because of the snow. (It’s snowing again today.)

What else? Let’s see. Ryan has earned his Life rank in Scouts. Eagle, here we come! He can get a learner’s permit in just three months! I can’t believe it. I don’t know if I am thrilled or terrified at the prospect. Basketball season is in full swing now. Rusty and Sam are both playing. We have basketball games on Saturday morning, which is a whole lot better than the week night soccer games. So, basically we’re all plugging along just fine.
