Okay, here’s an update from the last month or so:

March 25 — At our precinct caucus, Tracy was elected a delegate to the state Republican convention. On May 10, he gets to go cast his votes for who will be the Republican candidate for Congress, State Senate, and some other state offices. Since whoever gets on the ballot will most likely win (this is the most republican county in the country), this is an important job. He’s been getting lots of mail, email, and phone calls from candidates.

April 5 — Sam slipped on the kitchen floor and broke his front tooth in half! Fortunately, he didn’t expose the nerve and didn’t need a root canal. He has a large, tooth-shaped filling until he can get a crown (when he’s sixteen or seventeen).

April 13 — Ryan gave a talk and I sang a solo in Sacrament Meeting.

April 14-18 — Spring Break! We stayed at a hotel in Green River, went to the John Wesley Powell River History Museum, which was next to the hotel, went to Goblin Valley, and drove through the San Rafael Swell.

We also went to Hogle Zoo, went miniature golfing at Trafalga, and had dinner at Brick Oven. It was a good Spring Break.

April 23 — Ryan turned fifteen! Grandma Cindy gave him a beautiful quilt, which he loves. He also got the Fablehaven series (you might like them, Lindsay), and a watch.

April 25-26 — Rusty went on a scout campout and learned “bouldering.” He got lots of scrapes.

April 26 — Ryan played his trombone in the state solo and ensemble festival. Tracy accompanied him on piano. Ryan and Rusty started to teach themselves the flute. Cool.

So, that’s pretty much what we’ve been up to. You can see more pictures from our trip and other stuff on our picture galleries.
