Tracy went and bought a bunch of food at the Macey’s case lot sale. He drove the ‘burban around back to unload it through the basement doors, but the snow was a little deeper still than he was expecting, and the ‘burban got stuck in our back yard! It made me laugh.

Our very nice neighbor, Jay, finally pulled it out for us. On the plus side, though, we now have a six month supply of food (Well, a lot of items anyway. We still have some more stuff to get).

Xander had his check-up today. (He’s five months. I’m a little behind.) Anyway, he weighs 12lbs 12ozs and he is twenty-four inches long. Okay — that’s pretty small for five months, but all things considered he’s doing great. Ryan qualified for the state solo and ensemble festival with his trombone solo. Good job, Ryan.

Our ward is doing a pioneer handcart trek this summer. The kids are supposed to pick out a pioneer ancestor to represent. Tracy has been having a great time looking up our pioneer ancestors and finding out when they came across the plains. So far, we have only found one company that had both his and my ancestors in it. That’s kind of odd, considering we both have so many pioneers in our heritage. Anyway, it’s been fun to look at.
